The repair of the school entrance canopy was undertaken to address safety and convenience concerns for both learners and visitors. Over time, the roofing materials had significantly deteriorated due to age and exposure to varying weather conditions. The old roofing caused frequent leaks whenever it rained, resulting in dripping water that posed discomfort and possible hazards at the school entrance. By repairing the canopy, the GPTA ensures a safer and more welcoming environment for everyone entering the school. The project also supports the preservation of school facilities, preventing further damage that could lead to higher repair costs in the future. Overall, the repair was a necessary step in maintaining a functional and presentable entrance that reflects the GPTA officers’ commitment to safety and convenience.
