At Epiphany Christian Academy of La Trinidad, Inc. (ECALTI), the safety, well-being, and holistic development of every learner remain at the heart of our educational mission. Guided by the principles of preparedness, resilience, and shared responsibility, the School-Based Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (SBDRRM) Program is an integral part of our commitment to providing a safe, secure, and learner-centered learning environment.

The SBDRRM Program aims to reduce disaster risks and strengthen the school’s capacity to prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies and disasters. Through comprehensive planning, risk assessment, regular drills, capacity-building activities, and collaboration with parents, local government agencies, community organizations, and other stakeholders, the school fosters a culture of preparedness and resilience among all members of the school community.

ECALTI recognizes that disaster preparedness is a collective responsibility. By integrating disaster risk reduction into school operations and promoting proactive safety practices, we empower learners, educators, parents, and community partners to become active participants in safeguarding lives and protecting the continuity of education.

Anchored on the four thematic areas of Prevention and Mitigation, Preparedness, Response, and Rehabilitation and Recovery, the SBDRRM Program supports the school’s mission of nurturing responsible, resilient, and compassionate individuals who are equipped to face challenges with confidence and faith.
